When we reflect on the vastness of God, words often fall short. How can the finite human mind begin to comprehend the infinite, boundless nature of our Creator? God is beyond space and time, limitless in every sense.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To illustrate this, author C. S. Lewis offers a compelling analogy: Imagine a piece of paper stretching infinitely in all directions, and then draw a tiny one-inch line on it. This one-inch line represents time. From the beginning of the line to the end, we can see our brief existence in contrast to the boundless expanse of eternity.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, think about this infinite God choosing to enter the finite world. He humbled Himself to be born as a tiny human baby in a manger, wrapped in swaddling cloths. This is the depth of His love for us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we contemplate the vastness of God\u2019s nature, it raises an important question: How should we respond? When we realize that our lives are hidden in Christ (Colossians 3:3), we understand that all we need\u2014every hope, desire, and fulfillment\u2014can be found in Him.  
 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We serve a God who is not only infinite in power and wisdom but also deeply personal and involved in our lives. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Because of His infinite nature, we need not fear or worry. Anxiety fades in the presence of the One who holds time and eternity in His hands. Instead, we are called to trust in His sovereignty, knowing that He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life\u2019s challenges are opportunities to walk closely with Him, recognising the windows of opportunity He opens in the midst of trials. When we focus on things above\u2014on Christ, seated at the right hand of God (Colossians 3:1-3)\u2014our perspective shifts. We see beyond the temporary struggles and understand that our eternal hope is secure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Living out abundance by giving to others<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lunar New Year is a season where we reflect on the joy of giving and receiving. When we were children, we were often in the position of receiving gifts, and as adults, we are blessed with the opportunity to give. This shift from receiving to giving mirrors the transformation in our relationship with God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Christians, we are called to give not out of obligation, but from the abundance with which God has blessed us. In Psalm 103:3-5, we are reminded of the many gifts God has poured into our lives: He forgives our sins, heals our diseases, redeems our lives from destruction, and crowns us with love and mercy. He satisfies our needs and renews our strength like that of an eagle. All of these blessings are freely given to us, not because we deserve them, but because of His boundless love and grace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to this, our lives should overflow with love toward others. Just as God gave freely to us, we are called to give freely\u2014whether it\u2019s our time, money, encouragement, or a simple helping hand. When we give with a joyful heart, we experience the richness of God\u2019s grace in ways we can\u2019t even imagine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Acts 20:35, Paul reminds us that it is \u201cmore blessed to give than to receive.\u201d This isn\u2019t just about material gifts; it\u2019s about pouring out our lives for others, sharing in their joys and burdens, and reflecting God\u2019s love in tangible ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflect and respond:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. During this season of giving, what opportunities to give can you embrace in the coming weeks?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Who are the people around you who could be blessed by your generosity\u2014whether through your time, resources, or simply your presence?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God is so big and powerful that we can\u2019t even fully understand how great He is! But even though God is infinite, He chose to become human through his son Jesus to show us how much He loves us. Because God loves us so much, we should trust Him and remember that He will always take care of us, no matter what happens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like God gives us so many good things\u2014like forgiveness, love, and strength\u2014we should also share with others. Giving doesn\u2019t always mean big things; it could be your time, a smile, or helping someone who needs it. When we give with love, God blesses us too, and we feel happy inside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, as you think about how much God has given you, remember to share that love with others, just like Jesus did! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
